"By organizing “walking systems” Sharon Eyal creates a kind of hi-tech architecture, a space to shape emotions, a space that builds itself on the rhythmic pulse of the dancers, even if only few of them seem to manage, only briefly, to break away from the group at the end of the choreography.
The regularity of the rhythms, the gestual patterns and the energy of the bodies involve the audience and disquiet him at once: the involvement is like a vice, the vice of repetition, becoming even more disquieting from the resistance of the dancers in keeping the focus, the necessary physical and mental concentration not to miss a step.
