Try In House III - Turns the house up-side down!
Try In House is a platform or a show case where the company’s performers are given an opportunity to explore their own creativity. These explorations are not limited to mere choreographic research. Try In House’s third edition promises to push these boundaries even further! As earlier projects proved, they venture into several different art forms, thereby confirming the incredible creative richness, diversity and excellence of Carte Blanche’s performers. This year we collaborate with students from Bergen National Academy of the Arts - KhiB and the University of Bergen - UiB. We give you 4 evenings - 17 projects - 0 limits!
Artistic director Bruno Heynderickx:
Apart from physical abilities and talent, the strength of exciting contemporary dancers lies in their ability to have a strong creative input into the choreographic process. By creating opportunities (frameworks) that encourage and support our dancers in developing their creativity, I believe that we not only better prepare them for their work with the choreographers the company invites but that we also empower them as individual artists. Perhaps even sowing the seeds for future choreographic talent.
