Yaniv Cohen

Carte Blanche-dancer since 2005
 

Yaniv Cohen (1977) is born in Kiryat Gat in Israel. He has worked as a free lancer in Israel and Europa, with choreographers like Javier de Frutos, Yasmeen Godder, Sahar Azimi and Paul Selwin Norton.

After dancing in Dansflokkurin Islands (Island's Dance Company), he came to Carte Blanche spring 2005 and has since participated in all Carte Blanche productions. 
Yaniv Cohen is also a talented freelance photographer and does photo- and art work for Carte Blanche, as well as Subjazz and Winter Guests Dance Company.

Autumn 2008 he exhibited photos of his colleagues in the exhibition Not Stage(d) at Galleri Boulou i Bergen and in 2011 in Studio Bergen.

Yaniv is married to Carte Blanche dancer Camilla Spidsøe Cohen.
