Simbarashe Norman Fulukia

Simbarashe Norman Fulukia “Simba”, was born and grew up in Mbare Township in Harare Zimbabwe, where he trained intensively in Zimbabwean folk dances, drama and music before transitioning to ballet and contemporary dance. He received his first BA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Dance Foundation Course, National Ballet of Zimbabwe, BA in Modern dance at Oslo National Academy of Arts in Oslo, Norway. Simba is also the founder of Simba Arts Zimbabwean based nonprofit organization.
Since 2003 Simba has worked with Tumbuka dance company, Zimbabwe's first contemporary dance company, Malawi based Nanzikambe Arts, Jimu Makurumbandi in Zimbabwe,Theirry Smith in Brussels, Germany born choreographer Arco Renz, in Norwegian scene Simba has had the pleasure to work and performe with Dida Productions,Zeze Kolstad,Solveig Leinan Hermo,Hallgrim Hansegård,Kristine Gjems,Christopher Aruni,Heine Avdal,Sudesh Adhana,Bright Wamwanduka, etc... currently employed as a dancer with Carte Blanche, The Norwegian National Company of Contemporary Dance and teaching Simba-fusion at Bergen Dance Centre & European Yoga studio in Bergen, Norway.
